JustGiving has announced a new fee free service which will help UK charities collect donations on their own websites.
‘Giving Checkout’ provides charities with an option to add a ‘donate’ button to their own websites, together with a downloadable QR code which can be used in direct mail or bucket collection fundraising campaigns.
This latest initiative follows Just Giving’s removal of platform fees in 2019, which were replaced with an option for donors to instead make voluntary donations to the online platform.
Since JustGiving’s launch, the platform has been used to donate more than £3.8billion to charities and worthy causes.
Earlier this year, the donation platform announced that £180million had been raised through its pages to support communities affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
