Reverse Advent – The calendar that gives something back

With the 1 December just a few days away, across the country cardboard doors will be opened in the traditional countdown to Christmas.

Hear at Clemence Hoar Cummings we have decided to reverse things this Christmas – with a calendar that gives back.

What is a reverse advent calendar?

The idea is simple; instead of opening the door and receiving a chocolate every day, we are going to be doing the giving.

By contributing something every day with items of food, clothing, toiletries or anything useful that can be taken to a food bank or charity in order to help those less fortunate, that are struggling at Christmas time.

Who will we be supporting?

After 24 days of collecting useful items, we will be taking everything to our local help scheme, The Collier Row and Romford Foodbank.

Here at Clemence Hoar Cummings, we believe that at this time of the year it is important to help and care for others during the festive period.
